Our relationship with food distils down to the very core of who we are, our sense of self, our very essence. Explained as a psychological energy system on its own, this workshop aims to explore your individual and idiosyncratic relationship with food, how it came to be, what continues to impact it, body image and self-beliefs. Designed to experientially allow participants to examine an integral part of their lives, this workshop starts with a weekend of curious investigation, followed by a once a week class for four weeks. Its unique format invites participants to carry their curiosity and learnings into their daily lives, so we can truly embody its integration into our visceral experience. Noticing, observing and being mindful of the unconscious and conscious choices we make as we are living life, you will be your own case study.
This workshop will benefit therapists, psychiatrists, other health professionals (doctors, nurses, nutritionists and dieticians) working with clients suffering from food related issues such as (and not limited to), disordered eating, eating disorders, body image issues, obesity.
